Our Preparing for Dog in School online course is designed for school staff who have or plan to have a dog on site, either as staff dog or a visiting therapy dog. The course provides all the knowledge needed to ensure safe and successful integration of the therapy dog for staff, students and the dog.

From risk assessments to classroom posters, considering waste disposal to understanding dog behaviour, our comprehensive course will ensure your school is able to maximise the benefits of having a dog in the classroom.

Working with Animals in Mind and Easton Way Farm and supported by therapy dogs, Hero, Waffle and Luna we offer animal assisted interventions for nurseries, schools, hospitals, care homes, prisons, community groups and clients’ own homes.

Animal Focused sessions can help support clients’ mental and physical wellbeing as well as providing educational opportunities. We offer sessions for children, adolescents and the elderly throughout Northamptonshire.

We work with pet business owners, welfare organisations and awarding organisations to develop course specifications, teaching materials, assessments and staff training. All our work is current, high quality and welfare oriented which helps drive up industry standards.
