Our Dogs in Schools course has been shortlisted for the Business Awards UK in the Pet & Animal Products category with the unique course designed for educational settings who have or plan to have a dog on site, either as staff dog or a visiting therapy dog. The course provides all the knowledge needed to ensure safe and successful integration of the therapy dog for staff, students and the dog.
The course is split into six sections, covering the benefits and considerations of having a dog in school, the dog's suitability, as well as dog welfare, behaviour and learner interactions.
You will have access to a range of downloadable resources that support having a dog in school and are referred to throughout the course. This includes fully editable risk assessments and policies.
